Here is the video report for the funeral of singer Eric Charles.
On Thursday, February 25, 2016, around 3 am, Eric Charles (51), the composer, guitarist and the lead singer of MIZIK MIZIK sadly passed away by cerebro-vascular stroke at the Hospital Bernard Mevz in Port-au-Prince. He started his music career with SIWO group Miragoâne; he practically lifted the unknown band to the point of recognition by his radio programs. Then he joined DIPI Express group, before joining MIZIK MIZIK replacing Emmanuel Oba. He will be missed not only by his family and close friends, but by all lovers of Haitian music in Haiti and around the world. Fabrice Rouzier, one of the founders of Mizik Mizik, has described Eric's departure as, "Dear friends, the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; the name of the Lord be praised! We are suffering terribly from the loss of our brother this morning Erick Charles." His funeral service was held on Saturday March 5th at the church of Saint Pierre de Petion Ville in Haiti and he has been laid to rest at the cemetery Park Du Souvenir. Eric is survived by four beautiful daughters.
