The Haitian musician and composer Arly Lariviere was born in Cap-Haitian, Haiti to father Daniel Lariviere

Lariviere came to the U.S. and resided in Florida. He started with D-zine and in the 2000 joined Gazzman Pierre to form the Kompa band Nu-Look. The two stay together for close to 14 years
