Haitian Cardinal Chibly Langlois Visits Brooklyn, New York

Here is a picture of the Haitian Cardinal Chibly Langlois of the Diocese of Les Cayes on a visit to Brooklyn, New York recently. This video was filmed as the Cardinal was celebrating a Mass at St. Jerome Church in East Flatbush.

As you can see in the video, many of the Faithful were very happy to see him.

There is a significant Haitian population in New York City, especially in Flatbush. The Haitian Diaspora has been thriving in the areas between Flatbush, East Flatbush and Springfield Gardens. They came in full to see Cardinal Chibly Langlois celebrating his first Mass at St. Jerome Church in East Flatbush

You will see interview conducted with many who were present and The Haitian Cardinal in particular. With the leadership of Pope Francis, the Catholic Church has become more interesting. The new message is that the Catholic church does not belong to any particular group. It is not a European church. The church is universal to the people.

The Haitian community in the U.S. is one of the fastest-growing ethnic groups.
