is current in seceral cultures, including East and Southeast Asia, West Africa, Europe, Oceania and the Americas. In China, Korea and Vietnam ir is current to consume dog meat.

This is still a problem in many Western cultures. In 2014, it was estimated that over 25 million dogs were eaten by human. In Canada, it is legal to sell and serve dog meat provided that it is killed and gutted in front of federal inspectors.
