Moise Jean Charles cancelled all trips to block amended electoral law

The only way to have an electoral law for the next election in Haiti is to go over the body of Senator Moise Jean Charles. The Senator of North has made public his decision not to vote on the amended electoral law. Senator Moïse Jean-Charles, one of the leading opponents of the government of Michel Martelly has made it clear that he intends to block the pending amendments making its round in the Haitian Senate. The amendment was recently ratified unanimously by the Chamber of Deputies

Senator Moise Jean Charles want to convince 4 other Senators who also have been in opposition of the process, namely, Senator Pierre Francky Exius, Joel Joseph John, Polycarp and Wesner Jean William Jeanty.

It appears that Senator Jean-Charles will not have much to do to convince his other 4 colleagues. According to some sources, Senator Bien-Aimé, as well as Senator Pierre Francky Exius, Joel Joseph John, Polycarp and Wesner Jean William Jeanty do not have any intention to vote these amendments
